Sebastian Zukunft (Zukunft is German for future - his real name, no kidding), aka "El Futuro" the city cowboy, stands tall for the newest German popular music - unforgettable refrains to sing along to.

From his solo project "Zeit für Zukunft"
("Time for the Future") emerged the recent LP "Endlich" ("finally").
He has also fronted several bands, including Kiosk, Zukunft, Schmuck & Loewe and Gold.
With Ingo Geishecker's bass and Martin Wahl on drums, Zukunft says he has finally found the perfect minimal backline for his songs. The acoustic trio Zukunft und die Lichter (Zukunft and The Lights) have been playing since the beginning of 2006.
Zukunft is also happy to appear solo with his guitar and perform, in true cowboy style, "another lonesome gig". |
